Open Water Diver Course

If you've always wondered what lies beneath the surface, now's the time to find out. Start the journey of a lifetime with the PADI Open Water Diver course. It will change you forever. In the Open Water Diver course, your Instructor takes you through the basics of learning how to scuba dive.

The Open Water Scuba course consists of a combination of academics, pool skills and 4 open water dives. The student will watch the DVD, read the textbook and complete the knowledge reviews at the end of each chapter. The student also needs to complete the student information folder and a medical release form with a physicians approval prior to participation. The entire training needed for certification (including 4 open water dives) can be completed in as little as one month.

Class Tuition- $279.00

Includes:

• Instruction from a nationally certified and insured professional instructor with assistance from certified and insured Divemasters and Assistant Instructors
• Course Materials
• Use of Rental Scuba Equipment during the pool sessions
• Use of the pool

Personal Equipment- Cost ranges from $250-$450

• Each student will need to purchase personal snorkeling equipment as this is fitted to the individual.
• Each student needs: Mask, Snorkel, Open-Heel Fins, Neoprene Boots
• Each student also needs to have a textbook pack.

Quarry Certification Weekend- $125.00 per day (2 days required)

Includes:

• Registration with either the National Association of Underwater Instructors (NAUI) or the Professional Association of Diving Instructors (PADI)
• Lectures and Guided Dives from your Instructor and Dive master
• Use of complete set of Rental Scuba Gear

Not Included:

• Entrance Fee into Dutch Springs currently $34.00 per Scuba Diver per day (2 Days).
• Food for the weekend
• Camping fee $10 per day (optional)

If you would prefer to complete two of your certification dives off the coast of New Jersey add $100.00
