NAUI CPR/First Aid

This is a prerequisite class for NAUI or PADI Rescue classes. This class may be taken in conjunction with a scheduled Rescue Class. This class is available to divers and non-divers.

Properly applied first aid can save lives, reduce recovery time and quite possibly mean the difference between temporary disability or lifelong disability for the victim. Basic First Aid program participants learn to recognize the signs and symptoms of injuries and sudden illness. Crucial information about how to deal with emergencies like bleeding,shock, burns, strains, fractures, allergic reaction, diabetic and seizures is shared.

BFA gives you the confidence to respond to medical emergencies -- not just in the diving world, but also in your every day world with your family, friends, neighbors and coworkers. There are no prerequisites for this class – anyone can take it!
